Pink Calendar & Day Planner is a simple and unattractive calendar for your desktop that sits silently in your system tray and allows you to control the whole program from there. Apart from the calendar, you can create simple to-do lists divided in categories: personal, work and other.
The user interface is really simple and intuitive, but not really attractive to the eye. To create an appointment, you just double click on the day you want, and another window opens with a day planner, where you can organize your entire day by hours. You can also add pop-up reminders to your appointments that can be scheduled to appear some minutes before the appointment and also an additional one for the day before. You can also set an event to be repeated in periods of time. You can label the events or appointments with different colors to recognize them more easily at first sight. What is more, all the information you place in the program can be copied to the clipboard or printed out. You can also select the font you want to use and choose your own image as background. It even includes a timer that can be programed to expire in a certain time and even display a message created by the user. All in all, even though Pink Calendar & Day Planner is a very simple and unattractive program, it includes most basic functions found in similar programs but for free.
