PIF DESIGNER 2.2 is a software we can download free of charge from the Epson Website. It has been developed for editing frames with or without photos, specially for making birthday card, get well card, congratulation card, party card, greeting card, photo album and so on.
PIF DESIGNER 2.2 does not provide with any frame at all, so we either have to have our own frames, either from our printer software, digital camera or download from the Internet. We can also download frames from the Epson Website, though this last feature is no available in some areas nor some of the program options and functions.
First of all we have to get a photo or image ready anywhere out of this program within our computer, then we can open the PIFF DESIGNER interface and start. There we can select creating a new frame or editing an existing one. Next step we select paper size, paper direction and printable area. We can add an image and edit it. Also draw a straight line and add a message. We are allow to set the font type, size, and the colours (fonts, shadow and background). In order to print it we have to register it first to the Epson printer's memory card, EPSON digital camera or EPSON software for P.I.F. Frame. We also need to install EPSON PhotoQuicker 3.2 or later.
