PhotoSync is an application that allows you to send pictures from your iOS devices to your Mac and viceversa. To do this, you have to have the iOS app installed on your phone and PhotoSync Companion installed on your Mac. But, if you have more than one iOS device and you install the app on both of them, you can share pictures between those devices. This is great if you have an iPhone or iPod touch with a camera and an iPad. This way, you can send pictures to the iPads big screen quite easily.
The Mac version packs a lot of functionality. Both the iOS device and the Mac have to be connected to the same network. Once this is done, you can simply fire up the app on your iPhone, select a picture that you want to transfer and select your Mac from the list of found devices. PhotoSync will automatically detect devices running PhotoSync software for you. You can also send pictures and other files from the Mac to your iOS device. An interesting feature is that you are able to import received files directly into iPhoto or Aperture.
Sending pics to iOS devices or receiving them is as easy as it could be and Apple should have thought of that. For $1.99 for the iOS device, this app is a steal.
