PhotoAcute is a powerful application for transforming amateur photos into professional masterpieces. It comes with a modern interface and an easy-to-use menu. The main interface incorporates all of the settings and tools available. It can be used for individual photos, but also provides an option for batch processing. The tool provides support for most common photo formats like JPEG and PNG, but also provides support for RAW photos, taken with a digital camera. The process of improving photos is done in three steps: select the file/s, adjust processing options and processing action. In the "processing options" step, the users are allowed to select the improvements they want to apply, such as : increase resolution, blend HDR image, expand depth of field, fix chromatic aberrations and correct image geometry.
