Photo Cutter is a simple free tool to help you make a copy of a selected fragment of any digital photograph. The program supports all the best known image file formats (including BMP, JPEG, or TIFF) and its simplicity of use makes it a very useful tool for quick cropping.
Its clear interface and the absolute lack of cumbersome options and complicated settings will allow you to perform multiple cuttings with just a few clicks. This small tool has been definitely designed for those who need to work fast. Everything you need to know about the few steps needed for the whole process is on the program’s web page – no help file is available through the program, and you will never need one.
Just select the folder where the original images are, the desired output format, and the folder where you want the new images to be automatically placed. You do not even need to stop to give a name to the new file – the program will add “_cropped” to the original photograph’s filename and will move quickly to the next one on the list.
When accuracy is more important than speed, the program allows you to preview your selection before saving. In this case, Photo Cutter will wait until you click on the “Save” button to store the new file. To move quickly from one image to the next just left-click on the photograph in the screen, and right-click on it when you need to display the previous one.
