PhoneRescue is a Mac program designed to help you recover lost iOS data with minimum effort. The utility is compatible with a wide variety of iOS versions and device models, enables you to restore all kinds of files, and features a very intuitive interface.
You can choose between 3 recovery modes: directly from your iOS device (needs to be connected to your Mac via USB cable), from iTunes backup files or from your iCloud account. The next step is to select the types of files you want to restore. The program will start looking for data that can be recovered and let you use the built-in search tool to immediately locate files within the results list.
In my testing, I imported an iTunes backup file and the utility was able to find a large number of recoverable files. However, since I used the trial version of the tool, I wasn't able to restore any data. Another thing that bothered me was that the tool lacked options to save and load scan results.
The program also gives you access to fixing solutions if your device is stuck in a black screen or in a restarting loop. I wasn't able to test them though as my iOS device was working perfectly.
All in all, PhoneRescue might come in handy if you're dealing with iOS data loss. It's simple to handle, works fast, and works with many iOS device models. I'd say it's worth giving it a try.
