PhoneBrowse is more than an iPhone file manager for Mac. This simple yet helpful utility also enables you to back up the contents from your iPod or iPad to your computer, import data from a Mac to iOS device, change the appearance of your iPhone icons, and much more.
After you connect the iOS device to your Mac, the application displays all of its content nicely organized into categories (Music, Books, Voice Memos, etc.). You can transfer various types of files from your iOS gadget to your computer, rename documents, and even delete data if necessary.
This utility also comes in handy if you need to recover contacts, messages or Safari bookmarks from your iPhone backup files.
The one thing that's missing from this program is a search tool. This built-in utility might come in handy if you're dealing with a large amount of iOS files and wish to immediately find a certain file and transfer it to your Mac.
However, PhoneBrowse is a free application that works with many iOS device models and lets you easily transfer data between iPhones, iPads or iPods and your Mac. Hence, I think it's worth installing this program on your Mac if you're looking for a simple alternative to managing the data from your iOS gadget from your computer.
