The peacePipe faceless client-server system creates a two-way conduit between Apple's (web sharing) apache web server and traditional "handle CGI event" Applescript CGIs. The 'client' portion of the system executes under user 'www' whenever apache sees a CGI request. The client establishes the necessary CGI variables and communicates with the peacePipe server, running under the logged-in user name. The server launches the Applescript CGI and passes off the variable information. CGI replies are returned via the same conduit.
