pdfforge Images2PDF is a lightweight application that helps you convert image files into PDF documents. The tool supports most popular image formats, such as JPG, PNG, BMP, PCX, TIF, and GIF. For storage space reasons, you may want to reduce the size of the original files saving them as compressed PDFs.
The program comes with a simple interface, which is rather unimpressive and less intuitive than in other similar tools. You don't have large icons in plain sight to load files, set the destination folder, or enable the conversion. However, you will appreciate the generous preview that displays the imported images at a large scale, allowing you to have a clear view of them.
In addition, you can create and save image lists, so that you can convert multiple files in one session either right away or at a later time. If you consider that the PDF document takes much of your computer free space, you can lower the image size and the quality of the JPEG image. Furthermore, you can control the output paper format either preserving the original layout or changing it into a different size.
