PDF Assistant Pro is a Mac application that allows you to read and edit the contents of your PDF documents. The program features two reading modes, provides you with various ways to modify your PDF files, lets you print the input documents directly from its interface, and much more.

In my opinion, the book reading mode was thought very thoroughly and effectively. You can use your keyboard keys to go to the next or previous page and, when doing so, the sheet turning effect seems very realistic.
After testing many PDF readers and editors I came to the conclusion that the most important feature is the ability to change the text content or number of pages of the documents. Unfortunately, many programs lack this characteristic and PDF Assistant Pro doesn't make an exception.
In conclusion, if you're happy with PDF Assistant Pro features, I'd say it's worth buying it for your Mac. Otherwise, you should look for programs that provide you with more numerous editing abilities.
