PDF to Text Converter Expert is exactly what its name suggests: a program that enables you to convert PDF documents to an editable text format. The application might prove to be of good use if you need to extract the text content from a PDF file and use it your word processor tool.
You can import as many PDF documents as you like, choose individual output profiles if needed, and change the destination directory. The program can convert certain pages from the loaded files and preserve their original layout.
In my testing, I loaded 2 PDF documents and selected different page range settings for the files. The application took less than 2 seconds to generate the text files I needed without slowing down the performance of my computer.
Another great aspect of this application is the fact that it allows you to preview the imported PDF documents before launching the conversion process. This feature might prove to be of good use when deciding which of the pages from the PDF you need the app to extract.
Unfortunately, the program supports only one output format (TXT). So, you cannot convert your PDF documents to RTF format (a common text format used by Mac users).
However, I still think it's worth installing this utility on your Mac, especially if you have nothing to lose as it's free. It's simple to handle, provides you with quality results, and works 100%.
