PDF Photo Album 1.1

PDF Photo Album lets you create photo albums and collages with little effort. In this respect, the tool allows importing batches of pictures in multiple file formats to generate PDF documents from them. The application has a straightforward interface, in which different the different options are available from tabs. Likewise, it is excellent that it is possible to preview your work before actually saving it to a PDF file.

The first tab, called Page Layout, is possibly the one with the greatest impact on the final results. In this regard, it lets you set a page size, change orientation and configure the number of photos per page. Likewise, there are two photo scale modes: Fit and Fill. The following three tabs are intended for picking a background, add text and apply effects. Finally, the last tab allows setting an output quality, choosing a target folder, configuring a compression level and picking an output format (PDF or images).

All in all, PDF Photo Album is easy and affordable. However, I think you may find better choices out there. Unfortunately, it does not permit customizing the results as much as I would like. For instance, it does not come with various layout presets. Neither does it let you rearrange the photographs to the desired position. Likewise, you cannot put a different text caption for each picture. Still, if you are interested in it, the product can be purchased from the Mac Store.
