This program was created for Mac users who need to easily create PDF documents from text files and images. The application comes with simple-to-configure output settings, allows you to merge multiple files into a single PDF document, and immediately generates the output files you need.
You can import plain text and various types of image files (JPG, PNG, BMP, etc.). Unfortunately, the application fails to import RTF files.
An advantage is the fact that the program enables you to password protect the generated PDF documents. This feature comes in handy if you wish to prevent unauthorized users from opening or altering your PDF files.
In my testing, the app worked great. It immediately generated the PDF document I needed without slowing down the Mac performance.
However, taking into consideration the name of this utility, I expected more features. For instance, PDF Creator Expert lacks an option to add only images or text from the input files into the created PDF. Also, you cannot convert a certain amount of pages from the input files to the PDF format. The application takes all of the imported files and adds them one per PDF page.
In my opinion, you can find better solutions for creating PDF documents on your Mac. Even though this app is simple to use and comes with a fair price, it lacks many features that are necessary when creating quality PDF files.
