PC Purifier 

The developers of PC Purifier promise to restore your computer’s out-of-the-box performance by finding and eliminating registry errors. This system optimizer has a nice interface, which resembles those of other similar tools. So, if you’re already familiar with them, there isn’t much new to learn.

The tool scans three categories of registry issues: system related, user related, COM and ActiveX as well as startup and uninstall errors. According to the number of problems found, there’s a gauge that shows damage level using various colors. Furthermore, you can see a detailed list of the errors found and even pick only the ones you want to fix. As a protective measure, the program creates a partial or full registry backup, so that, in case anything goes wrong, you can reverse the changes. Luckily, only a few clicks are required to perform these operations. However, there’s an even better choice: it’s possible to schedule automatic registry scans and let the program do all the work for you.

All in all, PC Purifier seems quite effective in finding registry errors. However, it’s a pity that the trial version allows fixing only 15 errors, so its real effect on performance is hard to perceive. Moreover, you should know that there are other similar tools available at no cost, and some of them have more features, such as disk defragmenting and junk data deletion.
