Pavtube Blu-ray to iPad Converter is a Blu-ray and DVD ripper. The app allows you to convert your movies, either those in Blu-ray or DVD format, into video files that can be played on your iPad. There are also conversion profiles for iPods, iPhones and the AppleTV. This ripper can output files into the following formats: MPEG-4, H.264, MOV, and M4V. It can also convert your movies to audio files.
When you first launch the application, you will see some on-screen help that will guide you through the process. It is not very hard, though. All you need to do is click on the "Load" button and the movie on your tray will be automatically loaded. By default, the longest titles are selected, so you can simply select the format that you want to convert the movie into and click on "Convert".
This app can decrypt the copy protection that many Blu-ray and DVD movies come with. And this is a feature that any good ripper must have. Make sure it works for you before purchasing, though.
There is a video editor that allows you to trim and crop your videos, adjust brightness, contrast and saturation, add watermarks and even replace the audio track of your movie.
I like that you can select the subtitle and audio track that you want to use for your final file.
