Password Zipper is a file compression utility designed for Mac. You can use this simple application to create password-protected ZIP and RAR files on your computer and prevent other users from decompressing the generated archives without your permission.
The program features a user-friendly interface, so even users with little computer experience can compress and extract archive files with this tool. All you need to do in order to build a ZIP or RAR file is to select the documents you wish to compress, enter an access password, and click the Create button on the bottom side of the screen. To decompress archives, just click the Extract button from the main menu of the app and choose a destination folder for the extracted files.
You can define a default password which will be attributed to any archive file you create in Password Zipper.
Personally, I don't think it's worth installing a third-party app like Password Zipper if it brings you a small amount of features which can also be found in Mac's default file compression tool.
With that being said, you should look for other file compression apps if you require more options than Password Zipper has to offer.
