Par2 files are often accompanied with usenet downloads. Par2ForMac application uses an encapsulated unix tool called par2repair to repair downloads. Using the application is simple: just drag and drop one of the par2 files on the apps icon. You can also change macosx’s preferences to open par2 files with this app. You cannot drop files on the apps window.
