Papers is a Mac utility that helps you store all of your research materials in one place. This program also provides you with a quick solution for finding materials for your research online.
The application comes with a nicely-designed interface that features 6 tabs: Search, Library, Labels, Authors, Sources, and Reader. Each of these 6 tools provides you with easy-to-configure settings, so you won't need to make a trip to the homepage of the developer to learn how to use this program.
The integrated search tool is highly efficient, looking across more than 25 search engines in one go. Once you find the article you wish to read, select it, click over the "Import" button from the right side of the interface, and in a couple of moments the material will be added to your library.
Another great thing is that you can import your own research material. The program supports various file formats, allows you to attach notes to your articles and rate them, lets you organize them into groups, etc.
Other useful features include the ability to quickly share your favorite articles, print or export research material to multiple formats, sync stored data across your Cloud account, and so much more.
Even though you can easily find cheaper solutions, not many Mac tools can compare with this feature-rich application. It's up to you to decide if this program is the right choice for you or try a cheaper Mac utility.
