This game is the second installment from the Otherworld series developed by the Boomzap company. The story continues with the main character, a brave school teacher, who joins her young student, Fiona, in a new adventure in a land of magic.
Your objective is to explore a world filled with magical creatures and, with the help from Fiona, banish the evil from the lands. The game has stunning artworks and cinematics, a very captivating storyline with interesting characters, and dozens of locations that bring you challenging puzzles. You will play various types of mini-games, such as tile matching, hidden objects, and many others.
All of your important notes will be stored in a journal which can be accessed at any time during gameplay. Furthermore, you can teleport from one location to another by using the built-in map.
The game is hugely addictive as it's filled with many plot twists, impressive animations, and many engaging challenges. Personally, I didn't skip any cinematics or dialogues as they provided me with plenty of useful information for my journey. Also, the Hint option offered me all the help I needed in order to complete my challenges. However, I wouldn't recommend this game to kids under 14 as it brings several creepy animations.
All in all, Otherworld: Omens of Summer is an exciting puzzle game that offers you tons of challenges. So, if you're over 14, you should definitely give it a try.
