With this little application you will be able to add a touch of grey to the menu, with control over 2 decimal values ranging from 0 (dark) to 1 (white). OpaqueMenuBar requires administrative privileges and a system restart in order to apply the changes.
The utility adds shades of grey (and only grey) by moving a slider. Unlike similar utilities that actually sit at the menu bar and start at login, making them available at all times, OpaqueMenuBar only lies in the Dock. You will not be able to preview the color shades you are applying, that is unless restarting the computer; this is quite inconvenient considering that users will want to change the values until reaching a desired output.
OpaqueMenuBar may come in handy to those who know exactly what shade of grey they are looking for and provided they only want grey color. In most cases though, users will find that the limited set of features are insufficient.
