NovoIcons is a handy Mac application that allows you to extract icons from any file that you might have stored on your system in the easiest way possible. This tool can prove to be quite useful if you want to extract icons and store them in various image formats (TIFF, PNG, JPG, GIF or ICNS) in no time and with very little effort.
Exacting icons with the help of NovoIcons is very easy. All you need to do is to provide the source file (or files) by either indicating their paths or with a simple drag-and-drop process, select the output folder and click on the "Extract" button. It can't get much easier than that.
Furthermore, if you want to extract icons from multiple files, you don't have to waste your time separately doing that for each file, because NovoIcons allows you to extract them in batch mode (if a folder is provided as a source).
Other than that, NovoIcons comes with a simple and very efficient interface and the lack of any settings or complicated menus keeps the job as easy as possible.
