Noizio is a Mac utility that gives you access to various ambient sounds which you can play to relax or to enhance your productivity. The program lives on your Menu Bar from where you can select the sounds you wish to play and configure the tool's settings according to your needs.
Whether you want to listen to thunderstorm noises or hear blue whales sounds, this tool has you covered. Simply click the preferred sound profile and adjust its noise volume. If needed, you can configure Noizio to automatically stop playing the selected sounds at a certain time of the day.
Another great aspect is that you can create mixes using various ambient sounds and adjust the noise level for every audio profile. Furthermore, you can save the mixes for playing later.
The only disadvantage is that not all of its ambient sounds come without price tags. You need to make in-app purchases in order to get access to extra relaxing sounds. Still, the acquiring prices are quite reasonable and definitely worth it if the sounds in question help you boost up your productivity or relax.
To sum things up, I'd say it's worth giving Noizio a try, especially if you work in a noisy environment.
