News Explorer is a newsreader application that helps individuals to find RSS feeds and syncs them to its database so that you always have the latest articles from your favorite websites and publications.
The app comes wrapped in a standard-looking theme that has a soft learning curve, good use of menu space and responds well to user commands. Apart from these things, the interface lacks themes or at least a Dark-mode theme, while the Smart filters section has too small tabs.
Moving on to the app's capabilities, users can open articles in separate tabs, manage Twitter feeds without leaving the app, read and download the full version of articles.
Furthermore, News Explorer supports RDF, JSON feed, ATOM, YouTube and Twitter news feeds. It has three built-in Reader view engines and a Feed manager for easily manage the feeds to be displayed in the Notification Center. Additionally, users can assign keyboard shortcuts to sharing services and group subscriptions by using folders.
Briefly, News Explorer is an interesting app for finding and managing RSS feeds. Yet, the price could've been smaller, and the sidebar sorting needs to be fixed cause it's not working.
