Developer:

New File Menu allows you to quickly create new files through the Finder context menu. It is the most convenient way to create a new file on the Mac OS platform. You can right-click in any Finder window or on the desktop to create a new file. Note: New File Menu is implemented as a Finder extension, so you need to enable "New File Menu Extension" in "System Preferences > Extensions" to make the context menu appear.

v1.6
• Add the "New File Menu" share menu (System Preferences » Extensions » Share Menu)
• Add an option to add the "New File" menu to external drives (New File Menu Preferences » Finder)
• Support changing the file format in the save dialog
