Nessy Tales is a lovely interactive reading book for kids which includes five nice stories. The stories include animations and the text is written on the left part of the screen. What is more, the story can even be narrated, in case the kid doesn't know how to read yet. The narrator's speech is very clear and slow, so the kids can easily understand what is being said. The pages are passed manually, which helps the kids read at their own pace, and the animations can be repeated as many times as you want.
The characters in all the stories are very funny and cute. The demo version will only allow you to view the first story in detail and for the rest, you can only view a brief summary. The application is run in full screen, so the kids cannot have access to your computer, but sadly, the screen is a bit small. The program features excellent graphics, realistic sounds, and some parts even include music.
In short, if you are looking for a nice book with stories to entertain your kids, or even help them practice reading, Nessy Tales may be a good choice.
