NARUTO: Ultimate Ninja Storm is an anime style game that gives players the chance to take on the role of a ninja and kick some serious butt. Players lead their character from zero to hero on an epic quest to defeat the huge cast of other ninjas and bad guys and prove that they are the boldest and best ninja of all time.
There is plenty of back storyline provided for players of NARUTO: Ultimate Ninja Storm, which could either be a bonus or a burden, depending on your gaming style. Players get the chance at the start of the game to choose their favourite ninja character and then take part in a series of battles to discover the skills of the other ninjas. After this, there is a lot of wandering around aimlessly and collecting items before it is time to battle again.
While the action sequences in NARUTO: Ultimate Ninja Storm can be a lot of fun, these are interspersed with a series of mini games that can be rather boring. Anyone who is able to grit their teeth and wade through the storyline sequences and often rather pointless interactions between characters will eventually be rewarded with battle sequences that provide plenty of action. However, some gamers may find that waiting for this payoff is more trouble than it is worth.
