MyWeather Desktop is a very basic weather information tool. It was developed using Adobe Air, so you will need to install that first if you want to use this app, which is also available for Windows. It gathers weather information from myweather.com. I honestly had never heard about this weather service, but from the little time I spent with the application, I think it is accurate and updated somewhat frequently.
The application requires that you sign up for an account with MyWeather before you can use it. The process is fast, but you have to launch the website to do it. With your account details in hand, you can proceed to log in. The first thing that you will see is the current temperature for your location, which is automatically detected. Then, you have a daily forecast and a radar with Bing imagery for your location. The forecast shows the high and low temperatures for the day and when they are expected. All the temperatures are shown in Fahrenheit, and, unfortunately, this can't be changed. In fact, there are no options that you can change in this application. You can't add a second location or customize it in any way. If you want more information about the weather, you can click on a small button at the bottom of the screen, which will take you to the website.
