Mysteryville is a hidden object game designed for Mac. You play as a journalist called Laura Winner who investigates the disappearance of all felines from a village. She interacts with intriguing characters and examines various locations for any clues regarding her current case.
The app is very intuitive, allows you to toggle fullscreen or windowed mode, and automatically saves your gameplay progress. What's more, it gives you access to plenty of useful hints which you can use when trying to complete a hidden object challenge.
Another good aspect is that you can always check your goals for the current mission (there's a Goal button on top side of the screen).
However, I wasn't impressed with the graphics and dialogue screens. Furthermore, it's pretty difficult to find missing items when playing in windowed mode.
To conclude, I think it's not worth buying this puzzle game if you take into consideration the aforementioned flaws and the fact that you need to pay to use it on your Mac. So, I'd say you should look for other puzzle games.
