Mystery of the Opera is a puzzle game developed for Mac users who enjoy completing hidden object challenges in their spare time. You can create as many player profiles as you like, use the Hint option whenever it's necessary, and access the help guide even while completing a challenge.
The storyline revolves around a determined young man looking for his fiancée, opera dive Christine, who's been kidnapped on the eve of her debut. Your objective is to locate your fiancée and find out who is behind the mysterious abduction.
The cinematics didn't impress me much. I tested many hidden object games and they offered quality animations with the dialogues in sync with the videos. Mystery of the Opera didn't offer this feature. Nonetheless, the artworks for the hidden object mini-games look pretty good.
I like the fact that the game offers you a comprehensive help guide which you can access any time. Plus, you can use the interactive tutorial from the beginning of the game if you're new to this hidden object challenges.
All in all, Mystery of the Opera is an entertaining puzzle game that provides you with many challenges. In addition, it comes with a reasonable price.
