Mysterium: The Board Game is a multiplayer digital adaptation of the hit mystery board game Mysterium. In this haunting game, one player takes on the role of a ghost trying to communicate clues to a group of psychic detectives while the other players try to guess the killer's identity.

Beyond the Veil of Death

Mysterium: The Board Game is a very faithful adaptation of its inspiration, which plays a little bit like a hybrid of Pictionary and Clue. The ghost has to choose clues from its hand of cards to give the other players hints about the killer, crime scene and murder weapon. Players have limited options to communicate with each other using their Clairvoyance Tokens, and you can opt to turn Clairvoyance off for an additional challenge. The controls that let you magnify details of the cards (important for people playing on smaller screens) aren't very intuitive, but once you get the hang of it the interface is quite simple. Additional card packs are available as in-app purchases once you run through the ones that come with the basic game.
