MyChecksum helps you to calculate checksums on files.

Supported types of checksums are: MD5 and SHA-1

There are several use cases for this application: Verify downloaded files.

When you download a file (e.g. an application from a website), there is more and more often a checksum provided, so that everybody can verify the downloaded file, maybe it is corrupted or maybe altered by somebody else ("bad guys?").
