My Movie Desktop is a simple application that allows users to set any video file as a desktop wallpaper.
The application has a very intuitive interface and is very easy to use. It sits silently on the system tray and allows users to control everything from there. It enables users to select a number of videos to be played as desktop wallpapers in sequent order or randomly. Users can preview videos directly from within the application, set the program to be launched with the Windows start up, and to play the videos as soon as it is launched. The user interface is not very attractive and has some spelling mistakes. However, the application works smoothly, without any delay. The best thing this program offers is the possibility to change videos whenever you get tired of them and turn them off or on very easily from the system tray.
I think, playing videos while working is not very productive, at least, in my case; I really cannot concentrate with that. However, I would definitely opt to play the video wallpaper when I'm relaxing.
