We try to do the best we can to protect our families and our possessions. Insurance, emergency planning, evacuation and whatever else it takes. Even the best of plans can't protect us from all that life can throw at us. In the event of a fire, storm, flood or a crime could you recreate a list of everything that was present before the loss?

In the event of a loss you need not only to show what you had, but you need to be able to recreate a list of all of the items you lost. Imagine for a second if you can, you have just had a major fire. You are standing in the charred ruins with all of the emotion of seeing a life time of work destroyed. You are worried about your family, where will you live, how will we rebuild, what is next. The insurance agent is pressing you for a list of possessions destroyed.
