MuteMyMic provides an easy way to control your microphone's input volume from the status bar or using keyboard shortcuts. You can adjust the volume of your internet calls quickly and conveniently with the keyboard shortcuts, which are: (F5) to decrease volume, (F6) to increase volume, (Option+F5) to mute/unmute, and (Option+F6) to maximize volume. The application works in the background and allows you to control the input volume with a single key or mouse click while still using other applications that require a microphone. Since version 1.7, MuteMyMic is also integrated with Growl.
