MPGCalc started out as a test project for learning Cocoa and Objective-C in the early days of Mac OS X. It really didn't do anything special, a regular old calculator could do the same thing! But after getting comfortable with Cocoa and moving on to other projects I found myself revisiting it once in a while to tweak it.
