MP3 Decode is a program to obtain raw data from compressed MP3 files.
As some of you may already know, all your music files in MP3 format are compressed to optimize disk space. But there are moments when you need raw audio totally uncompressed in WAV format, that is what this program is for, to convert your MP3 files into WAV files.
Its interface is very easy to use, all you need to do is to add your MP3 files to the program's list. Any file on the list can be removed in case you decide not to convert it. Under the file list you'll see a bar to input the output folder on which you'd like to store your WAV files.
Once you've chosen the files and the output folder you're ready to go, just click on "Decode" and wait until the process is done. The quality of your WAV files will be the same as the quality of your MP3, that is the same bitrate and sampling rate.
Note that since WAV is a raw format it will take a lot of disk space, a small file of about three minutes of audio can take up to 60 MB of disk space in WAV format since this latter is totally pure, no compression at all.
