Any time a malfunction is detected by your vehicle, a "Diagnostic Trouble Code" (DTC) is stored in the engine control module (ECM). This trouble code provides technicians a place to start their diagnosis to properly fix your vehicle's problem. With Movi® you can access these trouble codes, retrieve the vehicle's freeze frame data (data that was stored at the time the malfuncation occurred), and clear the data, which can turn your check engine light off.
