Motrix helps you manage your internet downloads. In this respect, it is more convenient to use this application than the download managers normally built in web browsers.

Motrix allows performing various types of transfers, which include not only HTTP and FTP but also torrents and magnet links. Fortunately, the manager integrates perfectly with web browsers via plugins. It also supports starting downloads by dragging and dropping torrents onto its window.
The application can be configured in the way most convenient for you. For example, you can limit the upload and download speeds so as not to affect browsing. It is also possible to control the number of simultaneously active tasks. In addition, you can set up a proxy server if necessary.
In general, Motrix is a download manager that supports several types of content. Fortunately, this product is open source and, as such, can be used at no cost.
