Monster Truck Challenge 

This program lets you drive a monster truck in a speed contest in which you need to knock down different obstacles such as barrels, walls, logs, and to jump across ramps, all of this in different climates and locations. The first level is played on the sands of a desert. Although the game has different truck models, in this basic level you can choose only one of them. You need to win at least a bronze medal to pass to the next level and choose a different level. This is not easy, so you need to play multiple times before winning a medal.

In general, the game is fun and easy to play since there aren't many rules; you simply need to cover the assigned route in the less time possible. It has good graphics and sound effects. A disadvantage is that you can control your truck only using the arrow keys on your keyboard, and not the mouse. This is kind of difficult if you are not used to doing so. Also, it can get boring after a while.

The program is free to download and use, but the installation wizard asks you to set MyPlayCity.com as your default homepage and new tab page, as well as to set it as your default search provider. You can decline to do so by unchecking the corresponding boxes and still have the program installed in your system.
