MobileRSS is a very sleek Google Reader desktop client. It can retrieve and display all your Google Reader news feeds on your Mac, but, unfortunately, it doesn't let you manage your feed subscriptions. In other words, if you want to add another feed, you will have to launch Google Reader to do that. Despite that important disadvantage, I have to say that I like MobileRSS quite a bit. One of the things that I like is that it loads news articles very fast, and it lets me see full posts without having to launch the article in a web browser. This saves me a lot of time when browsing through my news. The full article layout is very basic but it provides a great way to read news. The font used is one I am comfortable with when reading on my Mac.
MobileRSS has support for a variety of read it later services, including InstaPaper, ReaditLater, Delicious, Pinboard and Zootol. These can be accessed via the share button at the top of the window, from where you can also share articles via e-mail or Twitter, or even open them on Google Chrome.
MobileRSS lets you access many of its features using keyboard shortcuts. You can record your custom shortcuts from the preferences window. These save a lot of time when doing things like adding an article to ReadItLater or when e-mailing them.
Unison gives you virtual meeting rooms where you can IM, post updates or documents, and talk live whenever needed.
