Mimeo Photos is a program that allows users to create personalized photo collections by using personal pictures. Among photo collections, users can also create books, prints, calendars, or cards.
In order to start using the application, you have to complete a simple installation process that is done with only a few mouse clicks. As you start the app, you get in contact with a standard but modern interface, that has well-delimited sections and nicely crafted menu buttons. There aren't many text formatting options or a wide variety of skin themes, but the menu is very intuitive.
Its embedded features are numerous and cover a wide range of functions. Users can choose from over 50 designer themes, apply various edits and filters, or use layouts to balance or shuffle photo collections.
Furthermore, users can create photo calendars by using family pictures, make photo cards for any occasion, or use their creativity to generate customized photo backgrounds.
To sum it up, Mimeo Photos is a reliable tool for creating original photo collections. It is free, uses a low amount of system resources, and has a soft learning curve.

At Mimeo Photos, we’re always looking for new ways to make creating and printing photo products easier for our customers. As part of our latest release, we’ve made several improvements to our designer.
We made some dramatic enhancements to the Organize view. Not only does this give you a big picture view of your project, but you can now do powerful new things like: rearrange single pages vs spreads, add images to your pages, change page colors and backgrounds, change page layouts and more.
Our Autofill feature is completely reimagined and redesigned. It's now super easy to find any empty picture boxes in your project and to auto-magically fill them with images of your choosing. Look for the new Autofill button in the Photo panel.
Additional updates include enhancements to our quality checks to alert you when text is outside the safe zone; improved performance of the Photo panel when working on projects with a large amount of images; and a simplified Options panel that makes changing product formats or sizes quicker and easier than ever.
