Legend has it that famed magician Harry Houdini promised his wife he would attempt to reach her from the afterlife when he succumbed to death. This would be his greatest trick, but he seemingly never managed it... until now. In Midnight Mysteries, Houdini's wife herself contacts you from beyond the grave to help in reuniting her with her husband.
Telling an original story, the game gives you various tools for exploration in your search for Houdini. Famous friends such as Sir Arthur Conan Doyle are available for interaction as you try to uncover mysteries from his past. Clues are rarely just sitting around, so you'll have to solve various puzzles to find them.
