Microsoft has slated Office 2010 for a public beta release in November but the creator of the Microsoft Office 2010 IconPack has already designed some icons inspired by the new suite.
The free Microsoft Office 2010 IconPack features icons for Excel, Word, Outlook, etc. totaling 60 in all. All are in ICO and PNG formats with a resolution of 256 x 256 pixels. To change an icon to one of those in this pack, open the 'Information' dialog on the icon you want to use. Copy the image to the clipboard and then select the icon you want to change and paste it in. Alternatively, you can use a program like CandyBar to manage your icons.
Get ahead of the pack and impress your friends by being one of the first to give your Office suite icons a 2010 look.
