mediAvatar iPad to Mac Transfer is an iPad management utility. It can be used to do an array of things, including transferring movies, music, eBooks, and pictures from your iPad to your Mac and to copy movies and music from your computer to the iPad as well. This app lets you do all that without having to open iTunes at all. It is very useful when you have lost your iTunes library and you want to restore it from your iPad, for example.
The application has a graphical user interface that seems to be the standard in iPad management apps. On the left pane, you will see your iPad along with 7 different buttons: Music, Movies, Books, Photos, Camera Roll, Ringtone and Purchased. By clicking on each of those buttons, you will see all the content that you have for that category. For example, if you click on "Music" all your songs will be listed, and you can check the ones you want to download, or download them all at once.
There are only a handful of formats that are supported if you want to copy a movie or video file to your device, so you will need a file converter if your movie isn't in one of them.
