ManageDesk is a small application that enables the user to get the same Desktop behavior that you get by default over almost any Linux installation: to have multiple Desktops, with totally independent backgrounds and options.
ManageDesk is very easy to set up at first time thanks to its Configuration Wizard. Just click "Next" to get the recommended options. All of them are well-explained and you can't get lost.
After you install and run the program (closing the nag screen reminding you to buy the software) a new icon will appear over your System Tray. This icon has two uses: left-click on it to select and change the current Desktop, and right-click to open a contextual menu with a lot of options. From the last item (Desktopo Manager and Settings) you can enter the main program window and make the adjustments that you need, and that's it, you will get a multiple-desktop environment in a snap.
Note that this version is not available for download, but here you can get the latest one with a couple of features.
