Mahjongg mystery is a puzzle game in which you must remove all the tiles from the screen by making matches of two identical tiles. However, the catch is that you can only select tiles when they have at least one of the long sides free and there is no other tile on top. Every game can be solved in at least one way, but the difficulty will rely on the difficulty setting you selected (easy, medium, or hard).
The game includes two modes: Classic and Arcade. In Classic mode, you must try to remove all tiles from the board as fast as you can, although you can take as much time as needed. On the contrary, in Arcade mode, you must remove all tiles from the board before the time bar reaches the bottom. Fortunately, every time you make a match, some time is added to the bar. Both game modes include hints and shuffle option, and Classic mode also includes undo option. However, using hints or shuffle option will cost you some of your time. You will also be able to select the layout and tile set for both modes. All games can be saved to continue them later.
Regarding the graphics, they are simple and not really detailed. Sound effects are average and the music is pleasant.
In short, Mahjongg Mystery is a mahjong game which doesn't include anything new or impressive but if you are looking for a simple solitaire game it may work for you.
