Mahjong Palace is a simple mahjong game. Like in any mahjong game, the objective is to clear the board by matching identical tiles. However, only free tiles can be matched. For a tile to be considered free, it must have at least one free side and no tiles on top of it. The game offers three tile sets and multiple layouts to choose from. The layouts are divided by levels and number of tiles. All the games are timed, so the faster you complete a game, the higher your score is.
What is more, there are multiple beautiful backgrounds to choose from: beaches, animals, landscapes, flowers, and cascades, to name but a few. You can select between two difficulty levels (low and high) and two board sizes. The game offers simple sounds, but sadly, it doesn't include music or hints for beginners. Note that the trial version will only allow you to play the default layout, but the others can only be played once you purchase the license code.
All in all, Mahjong Palace is a nice mahjong game that offers plenty of options and layouts to enjoy.
