MagnetBall is a Mac game that puts your puzzle solving skills to the test. This app provides you with 60 challenging missions, gives you access to an integrated level editor, and automatically saves your gameplay progress as well as your highest scores.
Your objective is to guide the ball to its destination, marked by a platform. You can use the magnets to control the ball and collect all three stars on route. The app lets you restart the level if you get stuck or made the wrong decision when handling the magnets.
MagnetBall also lets you create your own missions by using its built-in level editor. You can choose from a wide variety of obstacles, magnets, and portals and place them anywhere you like on the board. Once you finish making adjustments to the level, you can export it as an MBL file to your local folders and play it whenever you like.
In my testing I encountered an issue. The ball occasionally got stuck in an inaccessible area when it should have moved within the magnet's radius.
Even though it doesn't provide you with amazing artworks, I still think it's worth installing MagnetBall on your computer if you're looking for a challenging puzzle game. In addition, you don't have to pay to use it on your computer.
