MagiCal is a very simple calendar for your menu bar. The application shows the current day of the week and date with a small icon in the menu bar and the time in the selected format. If you click on this icon, a small and simple calendar will pop up. The calendar will show the days of the current month, but you can go forth and backwards using the arrows at the top of the calendar. From the Preferences menu, you will also be able to customize the first day of the week and there are two styles to choose from.
If you are already using a clock, such as the system clock, you can hide the clock from the Preferences menu. There are many types of icons for the clock and date, and you can customize font, color, and format. Moreover, if you click on any day in the calendar, the program will automatically open iCal on the selected day.
To conclude, MagiCal is a simple but lovely application for your menu bar that will allow you to have a customizable clock and calendar at the palm of your hand.
