MacSudoku is a very complete game of Sudoku for the Mac. The application is deceivingly simple. The main window shows the Sudoku puzzle and there aren't any other options or buttons, except for a timer that runs at the bottom-right part of the screen. All of the settings and features are accessed from the different menus that appear when the app is active.
MacSudoku can generate different types of Sudoku puzzles. You can change the sizes of the puzzle to 4x4, 6x6, 9x9, 12x12 and 16x16. There are four different difficulty levels. As you increase the difficulty levels, you will notice that less numbers are repeated, which makes solving the puzzle considerably harder.
MacSudoku can display the results at any time, and this can be toggled. In other words, you don't have to restart the puzzle just to see the results. You can simply take a peek and then disable the solutions. There is also a nice feature that shows all the possible combinations of numbers both inside the squares and all throughout the board.
All in all, MacSudoku is a very complete game of Sudoku for the Mac. It has many different options and it is fun to play.
